Captain America and Black Panther have similar power, abilities, and values. The two fought on the side of good with the Avengers. A battle between the two would require each hero to use his strengths, combat skills, weapons, and strategic thinking to the best of his ability.
While Captain America and Black Panther are typically teammates, we’ve been fortunate to see them as adversaries in the MCU’s Captain America: Civil War. Their battle shows how they would line up and use their surroundings to aid their strategy. In Civil War, Captain America was victorious.
Captain America Vs Black Panther – Who’s Stronger
- If these two heroes were to fight again, Black Panther would win. However, while Captain America did well in the Airport Battle, even knocking War Machine through the air with a single kick, he needed the help of his teammates to subdue Black Panther. Antman brought a shrunken chest that enlarges after being thrown and Black Widow that of Black Panther at the last minute.
- Black Panther was a constant threat. First, he received kicks and shield attacks from Captain America. He then retaliated with life-threatening cuts with their vibranium claws. In this battle, each fighter had more pressing goals than the next.
- His physical abilities are almost the same. Captain America is more robust, but Black Panther is more agile. The outcome of the battle comes to his team.
- Black Panther can easily control the battle with blasts of energy from him. For example, if Captain America throws the shield at him while Black Panther has energy stored in his armor, he can send a blast to knock the guard out of his way, leaving Cap vulnerable to further shots and blows.
Black Panther, the Winner
- Captain America is weaker than Black Panther In the comics. However, Bast’s panther goddess has superhuman strength levels and can lift two tons. Black Panther is, therefore, superhumanly stronger than Captain America in the comics.
- White rhinos are the most extensive largest rhino species, measuring 17 feet long and weighing over 10,000 pounds; the rhino in the movie is more massive. Not only are they heavy, but they can run up to 35 miles per hour. T’Challa doesn’t just stop a force equal to a helicopter; he subdues it. So that proves that Black Panther is more potent than Captain America.
- Captain America has been a staple in the MCU since Phase 1, often serving as a moral compass and leader for the Avengers. As he first clashed with Black Panther, the two quickly developed a strong friendship filled with trust and respect.
- It was a hilarious moment reminiscent of early Avengers where Captain America favored curtsy when facing Loki in Germany. These moments showed one of the many similarities between the two.
- Black Panther is, therefore, more robust than Captain America in the MCU. But Steve Rogers is still impressive.
